Victorian Pipe Band Championships allocated to Ringwood Highland Gathering

Following the October Branch Council meeting at which the 2016 Victorian Pipe Band Championships were awarded to Haileybury, we hereby advise that during ongoing discussions with Haileybury and date availability for the proposed venue, Haileybury is no longer in a position to host the Championships. The Executive has therefore granted the 2016 Victorian Pipe Band Championships to the Ringwood Highland Gathering on 3 April 2016. Ringwood was the only other promoter who submitted an EOI, and we congratulate them on being allocated the State Championships in the year of their 50th Highland Gathering. Further information will be posted as it becomes available.
