The Branch Council is comprised of the Chairman,
two Vice-Chairmen, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, two
representatives of each band registered through the Branch and one for each of
the Piping, Drumming, Dress & Drill and Rules & Administration panels.
The V.H.P.B.A. State Council is made up of
the President, Vice-Presidents, two representatives for each band, and one for
each of the Panels of Piping Judges, Drumming Judges, Dress & Drill Judges
and Contest Supervisors, with the Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Treasurer
in attendance.
Pipe Bands Victoria is the name used to
market both associations, the APBA Inc. Victoria Branch being the body
responsible for everyday band activities, the V.H.P.B.A. Inc.
(the State Association formerly responsible for everyday band
activities) remains active as an administrative facility to support the branch.
