Annual General Meeting & October Council Meetings

The Annual General Meeting of Pipe Bands Victoria and October Council meetings of both the VHPBA and Pipe Bands Victoria will be held at the Maroondah Sports Club, Corner Mt Dandenong and Dublin Roads, Ringwood East on Sunday 20th October, 2019.

All members are invited to attend. The AGM will commence at 1:00pm. Council meetings will commence following conclusion of the AGM.

Due to the requirement to conduct an election for the office bearers of the VHPBA, a Returning Officer has been appointed to conduct an election in accordance with the rules of the association.

Therefore, on advice from both the Returning Officer and separate legal advice, and to ensure there is sufficient time between the closing of nominations and the Annual General Meeting to enable compliance with Rule 21 of the VHPBA in its entirety, and taking into account the requirements of Rule 13, the Annual General Meeting of the VHPBA will be postponed and at that date, the election of officers shall proceed in the usual fashion.

The new date for the AGM of the VHPBA shall be advertised following further consultation with the Returning Officer.
