Terry Tully Recital – Friday 20 April 2018
Pipe Bands Victoria is pleased to advise that the Victorian Pipers Association has a major Piping Recital being held this coming Friday 20th April, featuring one of the greatest pipers of our time, Terry Tully from Ireland.
Terry Tully is a Highland Piper, based in Ireland who lead his band to win the 2010 World Pipe Band Championships. He has published five collections of bagpipe music, and such compositions as “Tommy Tully’s Air” and “The Pumpkin’s Fancy,” have quickly earned places among the best Highland Pipe tunes written. His skills have earned him renown and such honours as performing with The Chieftains in Carnegie Hall in New York. He has appeared on three of the group’s albums.
