2020 Australian Pipe Band Championships (updated)

Pipe Bands Victoria is pleased to announce that the the promoter for the 2020 Australian Pipe Band Championships is the Maryborough Highland Society. The Championships will be held in Maryborough at Princes Park on 4 & 5 April 2020.

The CEO and President of the Highland Society were delighted to receive the advice their application was successful, and look forward to promoting a strong and successful event in regional Victoria. Following the launch, the Society has immediately commenced forward planning, and representatives from the Society will attend the upcoming Australian Championships in Brisbane. PBA President Chris Earl and PBV Chairman Tim McLeod attended the launch and are photographed with representatives from the Maryborough Highland Society.

We would also like to thank the members of the Maryborough Highland Pipe Band who made themselves available to participate in the launch at this morning’s press conference.
