Geelong Highland Gathering | Victorian Championships – Contest Draw

Please find attached the band contest draw for the Victorian Pipe Band Championships to be held at the 2017 Geelong Highland Gathering.

Pipe Bands Victoria apologises for the late publication of the draw, but due to the non-receipt and subsequent late entries (and special requests NOT listed on entry forms) from several bands it was not possible to comply with the requirements of Contest Rule B.105.02.

Bands are asked to pay particular attention to the appended notes, and especially the highlighted items on the draw itself pertaining to the designated Contest Arena, Liaison with Contest Officials, Official Opening, Finale Massed Band, and Presentation Procedure. The large number of performances will require the full cooperation of all bands on the day, and we thank all in advance for assisting our officials and the promoter to accommodate the large entry and keep the timetable running smoothly.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Geelong and a very competitive field for the State Championships.
