ONE WEEK LEFT TO BOOK FOR VHPBA 90TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

A reminder that bookings for the Victorian Highland Pipe Band Association 90th anniversary dinner at Scotch College Hawthorn close on Friday 6 June.
 
We have already received a good number of bookings and strong inquiries for the evening that will feature performances by our 2014 Victorian champion bands, highland dancers and the unveiling of the VHPBA tartan. A presentation will also be made to the Association Chieftain, The Hon. Ted Baillieu MLA who will be in attendance.
 
The $50 a head two-course meal with beverages will include Starward single malt whisky kindly provided by Ian Thorn of New World Distillery.
We would be delighted to have representatives of all bands, including those previously registered with the VHPBA, and in particular, our foundation bands who were part of the formation of the VHPBA in 1924.
