Vale Stuart Roberston

It is with great sadness that I advise of the passing of Stuart Robertson a piper with Frankston RSL Pipes and Drums.
 
Stuart started playing pipes at Haileybury College and was Pipe Major of the Band in his senior years there. In his pipe band career he was Pipe Major of Casey Pipe Band and latterly a long serving member of Frankston RSL Pipes & Drums where he was Pipe Sergeant. Stuart also served a spell with the Rats of Tobruk Memorial Pipes and Drums and travelled with them to play at Tattoos in Edinburgh, Moscow and Basel.
 
He will be sorely missed at Frankston as a friend, loyal band member and piper.
 
Our sympathies go to his family.
 
Funeral arrangements will be provided as they come to hand.
