Ian R Morison OAM

Pipe Bands Victoria congratulates Ian on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to the community, particularly through contributions to pipe bands. Ian is a Life Member of the City of Melbourne Highland Pipe Band, VHPBA and APBA Victoria Branch.

Over a period spanning 25 years, Ian served in a number of roles in the Victorian and Australian Pipe Band Associations, including President of the Victorian Association for 9 years and Vice President of the national body for 6 years.

Outside pipe bands, Ian has also been involved in the administration of Little Athletics and Little League football in his local area.
